2015 Run for the Parks, on April 12, 2015 in New York, NY

This was a 4.0 miles race. I finished in 37:21, a pace of 9:21, finishing 4,482nd out of 7,751 runners, 2,923rd men out of 4,018, 296th in my age group, with a time of 32:56 corrected for my age, i.e. 51.19 % of overall fitness, 100% being Superman.

This is my second best 4 miles so far. Nice weather for first day of Spring !

I still don’t train during the week. This is a real pain. I need to address this asap, but my work schedule is a bit heavy with multiple regulatory exercises. I will try to run Monday and Wednesday, in the evening at 7:00 p.m. , as well as Friday morning at 6:30 a.m.

I further adjusted my diet. Will see how long i keep the pace.

Today was a classic counter clock 4 miles, starting from 68th street, going up to 102nd street on the East side, then returning through the hills on the West side.

I finished slowly in 37:21. I struggled in the hills and I had no real punch in the end.

I picked up my water and raisin cinnamon bagel, then my bag, before heading back to 59th and 5th to visit the Apple Store. A good fresh Spring morning !
