Salut, encore une belle journée de printemps, avec beaucoup de soleil.

J’ai fini la course fatigué avec des ampoules aux talons. Il va falloir changer de fournisseur.

Le temps est de 7 heures, 44 minutes et 25 secondes.

Departure at 9:00, about 250 runners. I was the only running foreigner. I took position at the back of the pack.

It got hotter all day long. I tried to maintain a slow rythm for of about 7-8 minutes per kilometer but I had to give up quickly. We had some air, some wind along the river but the sun was brutal. About 24 to 30 Celsius degrees. No shade on the river banks. I mostly walk the last 25K with blisters all over my feet.

The splits:
5K : 39’35” (last year, 37’25″)
10K: 34’50” (36’10″)
15K: 38’49” (41’27″)
20K: 41’47” (42’47″)
25K: 44’39” (42’22″) <– start walking
30K: 48’16” (48’08″)
35K: 59’34” (54’07″) <– the rice curry
40K: 49’41” (51’37″) <- rebound
45K: 59’44” (50’06″) <- collapse ?
50K: 49’28” (50’09″)

Overall time 7:44’25″. A long day out there. Quite sunny. But a great day.

I completed my third ULTRA. Yeah !
