Cold, so cold, so windy, this 20th Ohtawara marathon with a nice sun.

I ran the un official half. The race is two loops, so it was convenient.

Start at 10:40. I’m running with running pants, a hot top and long sleeves Namban Rengo shirt, plus a cap and gloves. The wind came from the right for the first 5K, down from the mountain. From 5 to 10, back wind, then gradually we faced a strong and very cold head wind. 5km in 28’19 , 10km in 57’58 and 15km en 1h30 exactly.

The race organisers asked me to stopped at 15.4 km as I didn’t made their 90 minutes cut of time and ask me to board a bus. I declined, removed my number and went on. Alone. 20km in 2h06 and half in 2h11’53. Personal Bests for 15, 20 et half.

I took a good shower and went on to support the Nambanners.
My splits: 28’19”, 29’41”, 32’00, 35’04 et 6’49.
